SATURDAY ONLY, January 19, 2008, 2 to 7 pm, NO EXCEPTIONS!
ALL WRESTLERS MUST WEIGH-IN WEARING A COMPETITION SINGLET.
All wrestlers must be pass hair, fingernail, and skin condition check before weigh-in.
All questionable or suspect skin conditions must be reported on an IHSA skin condition form and brought to weigh-ins.
Certified Athletic Trainers and a Physician will be on-site to make final determinations.
When: Sunday, January 20, 2008
Wrestling begins at approximately 9:00 am.
Doors to the Peoria Civic Center will open at 8 am, all wrestlers should be in the Arena by 8:30 am.

There is no walk-in registration, all wrestlers must pre-register for this event.
Non-Refundable, Pre-registration and online registration only, $15. Registration will automatically shut-off when 2,000 entrants has been reached or JANUARY 13, 2008 pre-registration deadline has passed.
Style: Collegiate (Folkstyle)
Officials: USWOA registered
Rules:
 
National Federation of State High Schools with IKWF modifications of weight classes, match times, and mat size.
Head gear and covered shoelaces are required at this event.  Freestyle singlet is allowed.
Restrictions: USA Wrestling membership card required.  NO COACHING IS ALLOWED!  Limited to 2000 entries.
Divisions:
 
All wrestlers must meet age requirements to participate.  6 year olds and younger may not participate in this event.
Age
: 7 & 8 (born 1999 & 2000), 9 & 10 (born 1997 & 1998), 11 & 12 (born 1995 & 96), 13 & 14 (born 9/1/92 through 1994), GIRLS DIVISION (born 9/1/92 through 2000).
Elite: Novice-10, 11, 12 (born 95, 96, & 97), Senior-12, 13, 14 (born 9/1/92 through 1995).  12 year olds have option of wrestling Novice Elite or Senior Elite.
Elite divisions wrestlers DO NOT have to declare their weight when registering, weight declaration occurs at weigh-in.
Age of all wrestlers determined on December 31, 2007.
Any wrestler who meets the age requirement may enter the Novice Elite or Senior Elite Division but returning IKWF Novice and Senior Division state qualifiers and placers must wrestle in the Elite Division.  No restrictions for returning Midget Division state qualifiers or placers.
High School wrestlers are not allowed.
Brackets:
 
All bracketing dependent upon number of entries.  Round Robin, 5 man, and 6 man brackets may be used in place of 8 man blocked or 16 man elite brackets.  If there are more than 16 wrestlers at a given elite weight class, it will be split evenly between two or more brackets.  Duplicate bouts in the elite division will not occur, the score from the first bout will carry forward.  If there are not enough girl participants, they have the option to compete in the regular divisions.
7 & 8
- 4 man blocked weights, 9 & Above and Girls - 8 man blocked weights
Novice and Senior Elite - 16 man bracket with wrestle backs to 5th place, semifinal losers will wrestle for 3rd place.

Bout Time: Age and Girls - 1 min., 1 min., 1 min.
Elite - 1 min., 1.5 min., 1.5 min.
Awards: Age and Girls - Custom medals to 5th place.  Elite - Custom Medals to 6th place.
